
Ellen Rogers
Ellen Rogers holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Western Washington University and is a 2025-2026 Loft Mentor Series fellow. Formerly a poetry editor of The Hopper and assistant managing editor of Bellingham Review, she now works in environmental communications at a nonprofit that protects and restores the Mississippi River in the Twin Cities.
Ellen lives with her partner and daughters in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her favorite prairie grass is little bluestem.
